At least SOME people are wising up

January 19, 2009

The number of people who believe global warming is a man-made phenomenon is SHRINKING.

You can read all about it here (h/t Yid with Lid)

I believe the percentage is still far too high…but at least people are losing faith in the junk science that so many lefties are spewing.

That should get Al Gore’s panties all in a knot.

That makes T a happy girl.

And…on a, well, somewhat lighter note, NASA’s James Hansen, the scarmonger of the moment, has reportedly sent a memo to Prez-Elect Obama that not only shall he walk on water, he MUST also keep the water levels down and not mess with the oceanfront townhomes of Boca Raton. In four years.Or else. Says Hansen, we’re not just talking warmer, or losing the cuddly polar bears, but the world will be EXTINCT.I remember in school reading Robert Frost’s poem about some saying the world will end in fire, others in ice. It was global cooling in my slick Scholastic Readers in the 70’s and nuclear winter. Today it is hellfire.I’m guessing what’s going on here is actually a matter of taste as to how the world might end pending onerous carbon controls and the emission demons, etc. The same people who in the 1890’s positioned the end of capitalism and exploitive and non-productive and leading people to the poorhouses of London are now telling us capitalism makes just too much STUFF and harms mother nature. The Separation of Church and State makes no specific mention of Gaia, I know, but it should apply to this religion also.Back in the 70’s pols were similarly urged to control industry for the sake of saving corn from freezing in Indiana.Leave it to a true “rocket scientist” to, well, not be quite up to scientific par.
