You know what’s not going to stimulate me?

February 12, 2009

A government database of all of our health records…yet there are provisions for such a database in Obama’s massive spending bill.

Yeah…because forcing physicians to spend time and money to change to an electronic system they may not need or wants is the perfect way to stimulate the economy!

And forgive me if the thought of all of our health records being stored in some massive database give me pause…I just don’t think that is necessary.

Do we really want the government to control this?

How much control do we intend to hand over to the government? Will anything be off limits? It seems to me if we’re willing to let them control our health care, we might just be willing to let them control anything.

Kind of scary when you think about it.

Health records isn’t the only thing it will track of, try gun owners too. Yep, overturn federal law on NICS record without having a vote on it. Right now all NICS records are by law destroyed in 24-hours after being received by the FBI or ATF.

Actually….I’m betting on some Chinese dude named Wong, who is already working on some virus that would wipe out the whole database in twenty minutes. The fact that this is going to be open to medical staffs….thus inviting massive virus infection…means this will be attacked over and over. The billions spent here….will be flushed weekly as they rebuild the database over and over.
