It’s 8:30 pm…do you know where your money is?

February 21, 2009

I’m pretty sure Barack Obama is rolling around naked in some of mine.

I mean…if I had just swindled the American people out of nearly a trillion dollars, I’d probably strip down and rub it on myself too!

But I’m just weird like that.

Anyway, I took a visit over to recovery.gov today…you know…to see where all my hard-earned money is going.

What a joke…if I could, I would slap Barack Hussein Obama in the face…and then kick him in the balls…and then after that I’d just play it by ear.

The misleading information on this site is so infuriating…and I’m sure people are falling for it. On the main page, they make it appear as though the biggest chunk of money ($288 billion) will be going to tax relief…but they don’t tell you what KIND of tax relief. I’d suspect that most people are thinking “hey, that’s money for me!” Well, wise up.

If you read the fine print, you find this:

* Tax Relief – includes $15 B for Infrastructure and Science, $61 B for Protecting the Vulnerable, $25 B for Education and Training and $22 B for Energy, so total funds are $126 B for Infrastructure and Science, $142 B for Protecting the Vulnerable, $78 B for Education and Training, and $65 B for Energy.

First…what the fuck does protecting the vulnerable mean…and how do you provide a tax relief for such a thing? And second, why is it on there twice? Is it a clerical error?

So long story short people, we’re not getting a tax break. What little money they do kick back to us (if any at all) is our money anyway.

Isn’t it nice that we live in a country that will take our money and then generously hand it back out to us as our elected officials see fit?

This socialism business sure it neat.
